Join us for our first Epic Weekend in Quincy, California on October 8th & 9th, where we will experience the Bucks Wilderness on foot, the Southpark Trail System on two wheels, and a refreshing and satisfying selection of cold beer at Pangaea.
Saturday will be a Trail Daze event and we'll be working on a section of the Pacific Crest Trail from Bucks Summit, heading north towards Spanish Peak. Work will focus on brushing, deadfall removal, tread widening and off-sloping, and the construction of rolling dips and drains. All fun stuff when you're doing it with fun people!
Sunday we'll ride and hike the Southpark Trail System, located just north of Quincy at the base of Mount Hough. Southpark offers miles of flowy wooded singletrack, with a sweet descent to Spanish Creek and the Cascades; a series of waterfalls that only a few of the gnarliest local kayakers have ever survived.
Join us in celebration of National Public Lands Day and our Fall Mountain Epic, where we will partake in the amazing beauty of the Lakes Basin Trail System and Eastern Plumas County. The Lakes Basin is the gem of the neighborhood and we’re excited to showcase all the hard work that’s gone into enhancing the local trails and to enjoy the vibrant colors and mild temperatures that fall brings. Come celebrate National Trails Day during our Lost Sierra Trail Daze event on June 4th and 5th in Graeagle, California. Our 2010 event drew 206 volunteers from all over the Country and we got a ton of trail work done. This year will be no different, with multiple trail projects happening throughout the Plumas and Tahoe National Forests, followed by a big-time party on the "Green" in Graeagle. Our post work party includes live music, cold beer, BBQ, prize drawings. For the kids we have a bouncy castle, provided by Portola Railroad Days, and a special appearance is scheduled by Smokey the Bear. Read More »

Ah yes, it’s mountain biking season in the Sierra again. So, come on up and celebrate spring by going go for a ride and perhaps preview the progress we have made on the brand new section of the North Yuba River Trail. Our Trail Crew and hard working volunteers are pushing hard, trying to punch through a 7 mile section connecting the river towns of Downieville and Goodyears Bar.
