LA PORTE, CALIFORNIA – Join us for the first annual trail work and Hartman Bar clean-up party on Saturday and Sunday, October 23rd and 24th. If you love the Middle Fork of the Feather River, come help make a difference in this beautiful area.Volunteers will meet at the South Hartman Bar Trailhead, 31 miles from the town of Feather Falls, and will depart for trail maintenance projects from there. All of the food, tools and after work party on Saturday will be provided to volunteers for the day. Due to the remote location of the trail maintenance, volunteers should expect to hike up to 9 miles roundtrip over moderate to difficult terrain. For those that want a hardy day of hiking, a river clean up will take place at the end of the trail at Hartman Bar.
