Meet at Yuba Expeditions in downtown Downieville. Bagels and coffee will be served from 9-9:30am. Lunch and an after work BBQ will also be part of the fun. Expect to be out for about 5 or 6 hours, before the prospect of cold beer and more food lures everyone back to town. Bring some work gloves, a backpack, layers, and some enthusiasm. All are welcome. No experience necessary.

Nov Trail Daze
Just wondering if there are any volunteer positions available that would be friendly to a really cool toddler, with her mom too, of course. Would love to get out and help, but definately have the kiddo that weekend! Thanks.
All are welcome
Hey Kristy, we love toddlers! However, it depends on how rugged you want to get. Our plan is as follows. Meet up at Yuba Expeditions and then hike to the trail work location on the North Yuba Trail. The spot we're working on is about 2 miles in, so you're looking at a 4 mile round trip at least. Not sure how your little guy would do with that, but that is the plan.
There are other ways you can help out though if you're interested. At the end of the day we host a barbecue and you could help w/setup, clean up, or cooking. Same goes with setting up and cleaning up in the morning. I know it may not sound quite as exciting, but it's a group effort that keeps us going.
I'll talk to the board and see if they have any thoughts as well.
Cheers,
Nica
