Downieville & Quincy Trail Grants

Grants to Fund Downieville and Quincy OHV Trails

Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship (SBTS) will be holding two public meetings for comment about our OHV Grant Proposals to fund Downieville and Mount Hough trail maintenance. This includes fan favorites such as the Downieville Downhill and Quincy’s Mount Hough.

The Sierra County meeting is at Yuba Expeditions in Downieville - Wed, Feb 15, 3-6pm. Address: 208 Main Street, Downieville, CA 95936

The Plumas County meeting is at the Mineral Building at Plumas Sierra County Fairgrounds in Quincy - Thurs, Feb 16, 3-6pm. Address: 204 Fairgrounds Rd, Quincy, CA 95971

We will be partnering with Plumas County and Plumas National Forest on two grant applications for Mount Hough; Ground Operations Grant for maintenance on existing trails and a Planning Grant for new trail connections within the Mount Hough Trail System (up to 18 miles of new single track).

Contact Mandy at mandy@sierratrails.org if you have questions or cannot attend the meetings and would like to provide your input.

Trail Day Survey – How Can We Improve?

What do you do when the snow is piling up, your cabin fever is itchy, and you're planning for 2017? You run a survey of course! Take our survey for your chance to win a free Yuba Expeditions shuttle ride.

We believe you value trails on public lands just like us. And in order to take care of trails by volunteers like you, we're asking what you think to make our trail days even better. This is a super easy, five question survey to tell us what you like or want improved at our trail day events. You can choose more than one response for each question.

Take the SBTS Survey – Your opinion is important to us.

At the end, add your name and email in the last question for your chance to win a free Yuba Expeditions shuttle trip this year.

Thank you for your feedback to help make SBTS even better!
