Give from Your IRA
If you are 70½ or older, you can take advantage of Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) – also called Individual Retirement Account (IRA) rollovers. Your QCD creates investments in conservation.
Give Stock
Transferring stock is an easy and savvy way to support the landscapes you love. When you donate appreciated securities directly to SBTS, you can potentially avoid paying capital gains tax on the increased value.

Donor advised funds can be a more tax and cost-efficient alternative to a private foundation. DAFs act like a personal fund dedicated to your philanthropic goals managed in one place.

Non-itemizers get a deduction for making charitable cash gifts up to $1,000 ($2,000 for married couples). Gifts to donor-advised funds (DAFs) are excluded.
